The Smith house is preparing for Halloween. Last night Jordan picked up two pumpkins from HEB and brought them home to be carved. I drew out a few ideas and we decided to stack them one on top of the other. The one on the top looking down at the one on the bottom, and the one on bottom is looking up and very upset. They turned out pretty groovy. I'll try to remember to post a picture of them. Trevor is planning on being a ghost. He wondered if anyone ever just put a sheet over their heads like you see all the time on TV or in the comics, so he decided to do it himself. Jordan couldn't decide what she wanted to be for her party so we gave her a few suggestions at lunch.
Here are some of the suggestions we made:
A fart in the wind, this one was courtesy of her brother.
A statue, complete with pidgeon droppings.
The front of a horse, and ask all night, "Have you seen my butt?"
A washing machine,
A cell phone,
A CD,
We even suggested a Waterfall.
In the end she decided to be a spy, complete with changing her hair color. Yes, her mother even allowed her to dye her hair black for Halloween. Jordan assured us that it would come out in 8 to 10 washings. We will see if that happens.
They applied the purple colored goop last night and now her strawberry blonde hair is brown with purple highlights! Ha.
I'll post those pictures too.
Happy Halloween!
