The Charity Ball

On Saturday, Gena and I attended the Charity Ball at the Bay City Civic Center.  We looked marvelous!
The Civic Center was decorated wonderfully with snowflakes and a bunch of sticks painted white, ha.
There was a live band called "The Works" I think, and they sang quite a bit of lounge music perfect for helping a grown man fall asleep until after their second break when they donned a bunch of colorful afros and closed out the night with a long run of disco music.  It was quite a blast to cut a rug with a lot of old folks in tuxes and prom dresses.
There was also a silent auction and both Gena and I were high bidders on a couple of items.  She bought a long old booger basket and I got her a Valentines basket with all kinds of goodies.  Check out the photo site for some very interesting pictures.
