Golf Anyone?

Today I braved the weather and played golf at the Bay City Country Club. Bret and I had planned a day of golf some time last week and although today turned out to be quite miserable we decided to go for it and whack that little ball around the course. It was not as cold as i thought it would be at first and after two holes I was only one over par....which is pretty outstanding for me. As the day progressed, the wind picked up and it seemed to get even colder so we called it a day after nine holes and although we didn't keep score, I'm sure we both have had our better days. We ended the trip with a cup of hot chocolate and a promise to do it all again when the weather is more cooperative.

Last night, Gena and I took a trip up to Sealy to hang out with Travis and Stephanie, and partake of the famous Travis brisket. We also watched Van Wilder and got to see a dude crap in a trash can...ha. Not the most distinguished of movie moments. The brisket and sausage was good and Gena and I decided we have to invite them over to our place next time for some steaks.

Tomorrow is back to work time and as soon as we finish watching "Sahara" with Matthew ImKindagay, it's off to bed so goodnight to all and have a pleasant Presidents Day!
