When I got home from work today, I found out that Trevor had been in a fight at school!
What?!? Trevor?
Yes, Trevor had been sent to the office for fighting, but now you get to hear the rest of the story...
It was recess and one of the boys was being picked on by another boy, which Trevor says happens to him all the time, but today Trevor decided to stick up for him. The boy who was doing the bullying was holding a ball and taunting the other boy with it by saying, "You don't have the ball!" Apparantly Trever had seen enough and decided to kick the ball out of the bully's hands and tell him that, "Now you don't have it either."
Trevor then turned and walked away. The bully chased him down and knocked him to the ground. Trevor threw him off and got up and walked away again. The boy came at him again and they wrestled to the ground again and Trevor was hit (apparantly repeatedly), including three slaps to his face. The teacher was alerted and the kids were taken to the office where Trevor told his side of the story which claimed that he never threw a punch at the other kid. The other kid confirmed this and Trevor was allowed to go. Of course Trevor thought he was in trouble so he went to his classroom and read a book instead of returning to recess, ha.
All is well, Trevor wasn't hurt and the other kid will be dealt with by the principal.
My son, the hero...way to go Trev!
