For four days in a row I have found a turtle on the road and picked it up. Maybe I'm starting a turtle farm at home. A few weeks ago I found a baby snapping turtle and took it home to Gena who had been wanting a small turtle for a pet. Of course when the turtle gets bigger we will have to take him to a pond somewhere. I don't need Trevor to lose any fingers, ha.
In the small pond in our backyard we now have two red-eared sliders, both about 6 inches across and I found a slider yesterday that was about 10 inches across...we didn't keep him. Today on the way to work I found a slider about 4 inches across, he is in a box in the office until I go home this afternoon.
Speaking of my office...Trevor is here visiting today. Gena and Jordan had to go to San Antionio and will not be home until tomorrow evening so Trevor (who has a "goof-off" day at school today due to TAKs testing) got to come to Royal ISD today with dad. He is playing pinball and watching the turtle while I work, and speaking of work...gotta go!
