It's Time To Pick Up The Pace!

It's that time of year again. School has started and everybody has their own schedule again, their own agenda, and in a family that is involved in lots of things that means we will be busy, busy, busy. On Thursday, I took a day off of work and we all traveled to Nacogdoches to help Jordan move into her home away from home. She started classes today...wow a college student. Am I that old? I mowed after work on Friday and all of the morning on Saturday and then our new (three-person) family, minus Jordan, went to Gena's back to school party for the staff of the Middle School and the High School.
We had fajitas and I chunked some horseshoes around.
After singing at church on Sunday, I spent a few hours helping Gena prepare her classroom for today, the first day of school. Trevor is in the 5th grade and Jordan is a freshman in college, she just called me and let me know her first two classes went well. I'm so proud of her.

My day here at work is going well. I hope the rest of my family is doing great on their first day back to school.
