I'm sitting at my desk here at D4, although it's not much like my desk anymore since I have removed everything that is mine and packed it all in footlockers ready to be mailed home. I was manifested to fly in a Blackhawk yesterday morning at 0840hrs, but the wind and sand cancelled the flight and pushed it to this morning at 0810hrs. Yes, you guessed it. A sand storm cancelled the flights again and here I sit, waiting and wondering if I will make it to Liberty in time to fly to Dubai and make my flight to Amsterdam. I'm trying to get home but the weather isn't allowing it. We are going to try and get a convoy approved for tonight, maybe I can get to Liberty that way.
