Well, I have good news and bad news. It's all fun and games with KBR and the military. Since I can't seem to get out of here on a chopper, we sent a TRF to Liberty asking if we could drive the armored suburban and tag along with a military convoy that is going to liberty tonight. KBR security at Liberty approved our request, that is the good news! Looks like I am back on track to make it home. Now the bad news. Upon speaking to the military here about a convoy, they said, sorry, we have a no-expat rule, which basically means they will not escort civilians on a convoy. WHAT? Hold on a minute. When did this change? The army escorts expats here every day. I am so close to getting angry, but what can I do? I certainly can't hop in the family car and drive myself to the next camp on my own. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
