Another Day, Another Dollar.

Another day has come and gone and I hope I earned enough today to pay for my gas to get to work and back, ha.

Jordan's birthday party is only a couple of days away and I'm working on the plans every spare moment I get.  If you know where I can get a large box, let me know.  I can't tell you why because Jordan might read my blog and know one of the tasks that await her and her friends.

Work is going well.  I'm "multi-tasking" every day right now, which is good because it makes the 10 hour days go by a little faster, but it is also bad because not everything gets done, and I don't like to leave things undone, at least not at work, ha.  I can leave things at home undone a little easier...like the mowing, or the folding, or the cleaning...I think you get the picture.

I officially resigned from KBR last night.  I sent an e-mail to HR at Liberty asking what needed to be done, and the reply was, "You just did it.  All you have to do is let us know you are not coming back."  They also asked me if I had made plans for my personal items to be shipped home.  I didn't tell them, but I made those plans weeks ago, ha.

I am sooooo glad to not be going back to Iraq.  It was the pits being away from my family...a real bummer.  Hopefully the pay I get from Royal ISD will be enough to keep me and my family happy for now.  If not...I can always call up KBR and volunteer for another tour in the desert.

Glad to hear you're back. I'm sure Van Vleck is all astir, at least they were. September is a most delightful month. I miss having such a techie right down the road. Computers are funny things. Take care friend.
